Contract
1.
RESERVING EQUIPMENT
Equipment
will be reserved upon receipt of a signed contract, and 30% deposit
of estimated goods and services. This deposit is nonrefundable.
PAYMENT
Final 70% of adjusted amount will be due
on or before the day of the event. At this time, adjustments, if any,
will be made to reflect any change in the number of guests. These amounts
do not include any required damage/cleaning deposits, or amounts due
resulting from loss of goods or damage to them.
2.
CANCELLATION POLICY
ALFRESCO recognizes that plans can and do
change, sometimes on short notice. If there is a change in CLIENT'S
plans, e.g. cancellation or postponement of the event, ALFRESCO will
take reasonable steps to book a substitute event or events and/or make
other alternative arrangements. In the event, however, ALFRESCO is unable
to do so, in whole or in part, it reserves the right to retain up to
any and all amounts paid or due as of the date of receiving notice of
the change.
3.
ACTS OF GOD
In the unlikely event that a member/members
of ALFRESCO'S staff are unable doe to illness, disease, accident, or
injury to prepare for and attend the event, ALFRESCO reserves the right
to find substitute staff, companies, and/or subcontractors, to conduct
the event. If ALFRESCO is unable to conduct the event set forth in this
Agreement, ALFRESCO may terminate this Agreement and will refund all
monies to the client and in lieu of any and all other damages of whatever
kind and nature that might otherwise be available to CLIENT under applicable
law.
In
the event it is impossible to hold the event, due to circumstances beyond
the control of the parties, and ALFRESCO is not reasonably able to book
alternative events, ALFRESCO reserves the right to charge or retain
cost of perishable or unreturnable items, staff, or any other expenses
purchased or prepared for the event.
4.
ADDITIONAL FEES
Service Charge: If ALFRESCO is providing wait
staff under this AGREEMENT, an additional charge will be determined
for your catering bill.
Cleaning: CLIENT shall clean and neatly stack chairs on tables (8 per
table) prior to agreed upon date of pickup, unless a gratuity charge
arrangement has been made. If the client does not wish to do this, CLIENT
will pay an additional fee per chair.
5.
FOOD SOURCES
ALFRESCO shall not be responsible for food
contamination or any injury or illness resulting from food contamination
where it is not the sole provider of food for the Event.
6.
DAMAGE TO TENTS AND EQUIPMENT
There will be NO COOKING, GRILLING, ETC. UNDER
THE TENT due to smoke and fire damage possibility. Tiki Torches and
sources of fire must be at least 15' away from tent. NO FIREWORKS OR
SPARKLERS in the vicinity of the tent.
NO COLORED STREAMERS or TAPE on tent or side curtains. SIDE CURTAINS
MUST BE KEPT DRY AND CLEAN (not thrown on the ground) unless in use.
If used, they must be kept hanging on tent to dry, or folded and STORED
DRY AND CLEAN.
Any and all lighting, cooking, and heating sources or decorations (e.g.
colored paper streamers are not allowed) used in the vicinity of ALFRESCO'S
tents or equipment must be approved by ALFRESCO in advance. CLIENT agrees
to reimburse ALFRESCO for any and all costs or damages resulting from
lighting, cooking, or heating equipment or decorations except as authorized
above. In the event of serious damage ALFRESCO reserves the right to
repair or replace the damaged item or items in its discretion, at CLIENT'S
sole expense.
As part of this Agreement and in addition to the fees charge elsewhere
in this Agreement, an additional damage/cleaning deposit may be due
upon this Agreement, payable on or before thirty days in advance of
the Event. ALFRESCO will return all or a portion of this deposit to
the CLIENT promptly after ALFRESCO has had reasonable opportunity to
inspect the equipment provided and deducted any sum for repair or replacement
in this agreement.
7.
TABLEWARE
Rental Only: All Tableware is delivered
in handling racks. All Tableware is delivered clean and ready to set.
All tableware must be returned clear of food matter, rinsed (hosed off
is fine), dry, and in handling racks in which they were delivered. Failure
to do so will result in an additional $100.00 surcharge. CLIENT agrees
to pay replacement cost for any missing or damaged items. CLIENT is
responsible for counting items upon delivery, otherwise amounts delivered
will be considered correct. If items are found missing or damaged at
pickup, a detailed invoice of the charges will be provided to you after
the event.
With Catering: All Tableware will be delivered, set up, handled,
and cleaned depending upon the amount of service charge discussed and
agreed upon at the signing of the contract.
8.
LINENS
Rentals Only: CLIENT is responsible
for table set up (putting tablecloths on tables, folding napkins) unless
a service charge agreement has been made. Following the Event, and prior
to agreed upon time of pick up, CLIENT will shake food/debris from tablecloths
and napkins and place them in provided linen bags or clean cardboard
boxes. Linens should not be placed in plastic bags or containers of
any kind. CLIENT will be responsible for damages beyond normal wear
e.g. cigarette burns, sparkler burns, linens used as cleaning cloths.
With Catering: Handling, and set up will depend upon the amount
of service charge discussed and agreed upon at the signing of the contract.
9.
SITE PREPARATION
Please be sure your site is ready, (i.e. lawns
mowed, vehicles/obstacles out of the way) before the crew is scheduled
to arrive. If the site is not ready or accessible when the crew arrives,
or if equipment cannot be dropped directly on site (extra handling involved)
the client may be charged an additional fee.
CLIENT agrees to inform Alfresco of the existence of any underground
utilities (i.e. phone lines, gas lines, septic system, etc.), that may
interfere with the ability to stake and/or anchor equipment. CLIENT
assumes responsibility for all damage to underground equipment, or landscaping
resulting from equipment installation. To insure safe site installations,
DigSafe at 1-802-344-7233 is recommended.

Menu
Policies
All Menu Items may be substituted, these are only suggestions. We also have dessert, BBQ, & Theme Menus. Please feel free to ask about options not listed here, as well as mix and match options. We also provide custom pricing and menus per event, and are happy to offer you a quote with no obligation.
Alfresco Tents, Catering & Flowers lets you take care of your event needs in one place. We will coordinate all the details of your special event including the Catering-delicious Menus, Pristine White Tents, Elegant Round Tables, Linens, China, Wedding White Chairs, Centerpieces, Wedding and Flower Arrangements, and more, all coordinated to your individual tastes. We enjoy taking care of all of your needs, however, are also happy to provide individual services and look forward to working with other caterers, rental companies, florists, etc.
We require a 30% Deposit to secure your date. The remaining 70% is due on our before the day of your event by cash, cashier’s check, money order, or personal check. We do not accept credit cards in order to help with costs to you. Final Guest Counts of each must be finalized 10 days prior to your event. Cancellations cannot be made after this time, however, guest counts can be increased with notice, so that we can be prepared for them. Number of guests must be accurate since we bring the amount of food for the guest count provided. You are required to include all of your hired staff, helpers, etc (DJ, Band, Bartenders, help rom other establishments) in your guest count. Some discounts may be taken if your staff is not expected to eat hors d’oeuvres, dessert, etc. There will be no meal charge for any staff that we bring. Children ages 8 and under will be charged 50% of adult meals, except for sit down plated meals, they will be charged the same. Staff Charge will be based on your menus, and guest count. Gratuities are optional, however, much appreciated. All menus are subject to a 9% Vermont Meals tax.
